Our advice: Opt for a foam thread for all your seams on stretchy materials such as jersey, sweatshirt, quilted, etc. You will thus obtain a stitch that meets the elasticity required by your fabric, without being an elastic thread. You will be able to easily sew with the straight stitch of your machine instead of the stretch stitch in the absence of foam thread. It is placed both in the bobbin and in the needle. Bring a special Jersey machine needle!
Its softness also allows it to be used for the seams of "woven" warp and weft fabrics, in this case it is only used in cans (lingerie, sports clothing, etc.) but also for sensitive skin.
Can also be used as an overlocker, you will need to adjust the tensions of your loopers downwards.
