Contents of the pouch:
- A detailed instruction booklet for sewing the top or dress ,
- The pattern board (no overlapping pieces) in full size.
Recommended materials and equipment:
To make this top/dress, you will need:
- 150 cm wide fabric:
- for the top:
- sizes 34 to 46: 1.7 m of fabric
- sizes 48 to 56: 2.3 m of fabric
- for the dress:
- sizes 34 to 46: 2 m of fabric
- sizes 48 to 56: 2.8 m of fabric
- Most fabrics can be used provided that the thickness is not too great (do not exceed 400 gr/m²).
-
For the top version , I recommend: viscose, polyester or crepe for a fluid fit (note: if you use a fluid fabric, the top will be a little less stable at shoulder level). For a stiffer fit, you can choose cotton poplin or chambray. The most courageous can even opt for jersey!
-
For the dress version , in order to highlight the slightly trapezoid shape of the dress, I recommend: cotton poplin, chambray or even crepe. For more wintery versions, you can use a fine woolen fabric (a Prince of Wales fabric can have a nice effect!).
- 40 cm of iron-on interfacing.
- Buttons 1 cm in diameter:
- 7 for the top version,
- 11 for the dress version.
