My Custom Blouse - Sewing book

“My tailor-made blouse” is a work written by Johanna, founder of Atelier Scämmit. It aims to make you independent in pattern making and sewing on simple projects that suit you.

Thus, the book is structured around 3 axes to allow you to learn to:

• ADAPT TO YOUR MORPHOLOGY the patterns provided (from 34 to 52) via easy and selected modeling. You will find 2 simple blouse patterns, one with a bust dart, the other without.
• INFINITELY CUSTOMIZE the pattern according to the desired style and learn how to trace the pieces: shape and finish of the neckline, addition of a back slit or a button placket, sleeve volume, finishing of the bottom of the sleeve, addition from a basque, transformation into a dress... It's up to you to play the stylist and choose from more than 400 possible variations!
• TAKE CARE OF THE FINISHES: whatever the shapes and details chosen, you will find all the detailed assembly steps for an impeccable finish, to also be used in all your other projects.

The book is full of clear, easy and effective methodologies. It is therefore aimed at both beginners and experienced players.
